There are a couple of local companies that embark from a parking lot 1.5 miles north of Highway 60 on Hwy 512. There are no facilities there so you have to contact the companies to reserve by phone or on the internet
Go on Hwy 60 7.6 miles west of I-95 to get to Hwy 512

Some say there are more alligator sightings here than in the everglades

If there were a path across the railroad tracks you could walk there. There's not and we don't recommend crossing the tracks anyway. So just drive around from either the north or the south. It's a piece of Vero History you shouldn't miss.
They have live music most every Saturday (1:00-5:00 PM) - in addition to their regular Sunday Wine Downs (1:00-5:00 PM)

People come from across Florida to this combination of local choirs and professional musicians
The Fighting Indians Band currently engages 220 dedicated students in a variety of ensembles and activities throughout the year. Together they strive to achieve the highest level of artistry through performance.

features Mike Block String Camp presentations. 2021 was on-line in March due to Covid 19

The best mural is the history of Vero inside the Vero Beach Community Center 2266 14th Avenue (when it's open). Turn left upon entry and go into the Florida room at the north end. Light switches are marked
