The Board of Directors has an overall responsibility to work on behalf of Garden Grove homeowners to ensure that the community as a whole is a desirable location which attracts newcomers and meets the needs and expectations of the majority of current residents.
The Board of Directors' goals are to protect home values and, provide for the safety of the residents, and maintain the financial health of the corporation, while keeping HOA fees at a reasonable and acceptable cost to maintain and improve common areas and to minimize the need for assessments.
Garden Grove governing documents are the basis for maintaining the appearance of Garden Grove and are the foundation for providing a sense of cohesion throughout the community. The Board of Directors is responsible for addressing noncompliance with the documents and determining areas of the documents that may need to be revised and updated due to new technologies and materials that will enhance the look, durability, value and feel of the community. The documents are meant to be fluid and be updated to reflect the will of the majority of homeowners.
A year ago your Board undertook a Strategic Planning initiative, which members can review in the members only section.
